Duties of the Lay leader: As described in the Book Of Discipline
represent the laity in the local church fostering awareness of the role of the laity both within the congregation and through their ministries in the home, workplace, community, and world, and finding ways within the community of faith to recognize all these ministries
meet regularly with the Pastor-
membership in the following committees, charge conference, Ad. board, Finance, Committee on lay leadership, SPPRC, and lay member to annual conference
continuing education to better serve the church-
learning of opportunities for the church and the community and letting the church aware-
inform the laity of learning opportunities for them in their faith growth
