F.U.M.C. Preschool Update
It is my goal to keep the congregation updated on our progress monthly, so please watch for information posted in the foyer, in newsletter, and on the F.U.M.C. website. July was a busy month for fact finding and gathering estimates. I have spent much of August finalizing numbers to apply for grant and of course, organizing the Carnival.
The final ideas for the outdoor play area will be presented to the Ad Council and Trustee's at September meetings. Once approved, the ideas will be posted in the foyer for the congregations input.
Please check frequently, as we are making decisions quickly! This will be your opportunity to help me make some choices for what we will purchase with the funds we have or items you would like to see. This area has been designed for church use and your positive input is valuable in deciding what this area will look like. Carnival News
Although God showered us with rain that day, the Carnival went on with fun actitivities indoors! For those that made it in the rain, they had a great time! It was so exciting to see the joy on the volunteers faces when a child won at their game! Of course, everyone won every time so there was much laughter and big bright smiles! The ice cream and baked goods were delicious! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all that donated time, money, baked goods, and support. We will plan another Carnival in the future and hope for better weather! Denise Yon
