Missions Team

The mission team is starting out the new year with a couple of interesting changes. We are still doing our noisy coin collections on the second Sunday of the month, but we will be making a couple of minor changes in the lineup. The month of February we are going to be collecting Midwest Missions for their Blessing Bag Packs. This is a Zone 3 project that our church belongs to. It is for putting together food items for the needy. This is happening on March 22nd at the Howell Methodist Church at 2 in the afternoon. We would appreciate it if you were able to come out and assist us in this new endeavor. If you would like to. a attend please let Pastor Scott know and he will put your name on the list. 

Please keep in mind about our two big Mission Team fundraisers. They are the Bake Sales that we do in June for the Fun in the Ville day and in September for the Hearst Festival. These are the two big fundraisers that we have besides the noisy coin collection that helps us support our Mission projects. We will have specific dates later. If you can, we would really appreciate some help at these events. 

Our other Mission that we committed to a few years back was the donations of laundry soap and cleaning products. All of the Churches in the area made a commitment to the Family Impact Center and this is ours. Please help us with this project. If you can't make it during church on Sunday, you may drop it off during the week during office hours. Come to the north entrance and Pastor or Alycia would be happy to assist you.
