First of all, we would like to thank everyone for their donation for Heifer International on the last noisy coin collection. We received $90.50. The September and October noisy coin collection will be for New International. This is a group whose mission is to help build schools and teach children and families about Christ in Africa. Jayson Simonson is our contact there. He has visited us a few times and some of our members have done some adoptin of a family to assist. Looking ahead, in September we will be doing another Bake Sale at Hearst Fest on the 19th. These bake sales help us raise money to support our mission projects. We would appreciate baked goods donations for this event. They may be dropped off at the church on Friday the 18th between 9am and noon. Someone will be in the foyer on the south side to receive them. If you like to pepople watch, we would not mind if you would like to come to the fairgrounds and help out for a little bit.
