While researching for "Holy Humor" Sunday, I came across the following:

A man is pryaing in church and speaks to God. He asks God what a million years is like. God answers, "A million years, to me, feels like less than a second." The man thinks hard for a moment and finally asks, "So what about a million dollars? What's that like to you?" God replies, "It's like a penny to me." The man things again and asks, "Well, can I have a penny?" God replies, "Sure, Just give me a second."

Have you heard the phrase; "God loves a cheerful giver"? It is based in 2 Corinthians 9:7, which emphasizes that our giving needs to come from the heart, not out of obligation. When we think about it; we are trusting in God's provision, with a spirit of generosity. God values the willingness and attitude of the giver....

Somthing to ponder ... the penny was discontinued in 2025
